Excitement. Trepidation. Fear. All these feelings at once, as I finally introduce this little baby of mine to the world.

A long time ago, in a High Park galaxy far, far away, I arrived at a conclusion. I needed to take flight and see the world. Exploration. Adventure. Cultural Immersion. Soul searching. All of it awaited me, but I had no idea what I was looking for, nor what I was about to experience. Lucky for me, I kept a journal and wrote lots of letters home. Luckier for me, I had the type of family and friends who kept these letters and were gracious enough to return them to me. These notes allowed me to write this book.

I have spent years nurturing this piece, and am thrilled to introduce it to you. I hope you will take some time from your busy life and read it, enjoy it, maybe use it to launch your own journey.
